March 18th & 19th, 2016

University of Toronto, Faculty of Information

The iSchool Student Conference planning committee is excited to announce the 2016 annual student conference theme, Defying Conventions: Innovative Perspectives in the Information Field. Please join us for a two-day discussion of challenging perceptions and changing perspectives of Information Professionals.  Potential discussions of the theme might include reinterpreting the professional identity and role, reclaiming misconceptions, pushing boundaries in the field, and approaching hotly debated or emerging issues for the 21st century information or museum professional.

Sessions will include exciting and innovative ideas from students completing a Master of Museum Studies and students completing a Master of Information at the University of Toronto Faculty of Information.
